Furniture Pick Up

Yes! We are happy to pick up donations of large items such as furniture–and for FREE! We require at least 1 week notice.

We prefer that you use our furniture pickup request form. You can also make a request by email, in the store, or by phoning 519-629-0103. Be sure to include your phone number since that’s what we use to contact you.

Pick ups are made Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

What to expect

  1. After receiving your request, it is usually about a week before we call you to make arrangements. Then we usually come a day or two later. We find that’s the best way to be sure the date and time works well.
  2. We prioritize pickups based up if they have our most in demand furniture and where they are located compared to our other stops.
  3. When we come, our driver will do a quick inspection to confirm which items are in good condition and will sell quickly. We may not take everything.
  4. All items must be easily accessible from a main floor entrance. We do not carry anything that requires going up or down flights of stairs inside a house. A few steps are ok. We do pick ups in apartments/condo buildings and senior residences after a discussion with our driver about logistics including if an elevator needs to be booked.

NOTE: We do not pickup or sell used mattresses, box springs, futons or sofa beds. Nor do we pick up large heavy items such as pianos.
