How we help

We help our people and our community in many ways:

selling clothing, household items, mattresses, and furniture at affordable prices–including our Dollar Clothing racks and Bargain Bin
working with local community service agencies that help people with kids or getting housed including providing additional needed items at no charge
when the local Conferences or community organizations buy low cost bed sets, we provide bedding upon request
providing clothing and other necessities to people who are homeless or in urgent need
sharing some donated goods with charities helping people in developing nations provide layettes and clothing
diverting items that can be reused from going to the landfill which helps the environment including reducing methane emissions that contribute to climate change
giving opportunities for work experience to high school co-op students and people involved with Community Living Cambridge
provide volunteer opportunities for all Waterloo Region high school students
